Yesterday
By Sigismond

Yesterday, I had never heard the word trouble,

Now it looks as though it's here to stay.

Oh, I still bleed from yesterday.

Suddenly, I'm not the whole child I used to be,

There's a scar across my body.

Oh, yesterday came cruelly.

Horridly, a man in white's standing over me,

With his blade butchering my skin.

Oh, yesterday came painfully.

Why he did this so? I don't know, he wouldn't say.

I did nothing wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play,

Now I need a lube to get away.

Oh, I believe in yesterday.
