Caught a glimpse of one
It was nineteen eighty-eight
Didn't know it then
But what he had was something great
A quick glance, and nothing more
To stare in the change room was gay
Yet the image had burned into my mind
And sparked the yearning I feel today
I wonder what he was thinking
Why was he the only one?
As the years went by, was he compelled
To do what can't be undone?
And if he did, leads me to ask
What's the greater tale of woe?
To know the pleasures of a foreskin, lost
Or to know that you'll never know?
